Peace Boat works to promote peace, human rights, equal and sustainable development and respect for the environment through the organization of global educational programmes, cooperative projects and advocacy activities.
The first voyages were organized in 1983 by a group of Japanese university students from a desire to build greater bonds of mutual respect and understanding among the people of Asia, focusing on cultural exchange.
Peace Boat has organized more than 95 global and regional voyages, taken over 50,000 participants on board and visited over 200 ports of call.

102nd Global Cruise

2019 September 1 - December 12
(Kobe, Japan - Kobe, Japan / 103 days)

  • -The Northern Lights

This is something that everyone should see at least once their lifetime! The northern lights (aurora borealis) are such a beautiful phenomena that the name itself means "gift from the gods" in the local language. The ship will move to the best locations to observe the night sky. We'll have six chances to see these mysterious lights in the middle of a vast ocean far away from light pollution.

  • -Canada

Autumn in Canada is simply beautiful! You'll see the dynamic five-colored autumn leaves in Canada, the Maple country. The autumn leaves that spread out across the countryside along this 800 km Maple Route create a romantic atmosphere. We hope the beautiful late-autumn colors will make your journey more colorful as well.

  • -Egypt

The three pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx convey a history of thousands of years. These mysterious wonders await our visit! Enjoy this fascinating moment in time when contemporary and ancient intersect and explore these ancients ruins that attract travelers from around the world.

The Norwegian fjords were sculpted during the Ice Age, creating the breathtaking landscape you see today. On this cruise we will sail with uninterrupted views through Sognefjord, the largest in Norway, as well as the World Heritage listed Nærøyfjord.

  • -Reykjavik, Iceland

Iceland is a world-leader in renewable energy and is home to the Blue Lagoon, which is the largest outdoor hot-spring in the world, and also serves as a geothermal power plant. Another major attraction is Gullfoss Falls, a stunning waterfall that means “Golden Falls” in Icelandic.
